  • Rarity

What Makes Us Different?

At Sports Card Sharks, we tend to go against the grain. We typically aren’t buying what everyone else is buying when everyone else is buying it, so if you’re moving with the masses this may not be the right list for you. Adios!

Why Should You Trust Us?

Our Founder is an 80's baby that grew up in the 90's collecting sports cards during the junk wax era.

While card collecting when on hiatus for a couple of decades, that passion was re-sparked in 2020 and we haven't looked back since.

We spend countless hours researching each player and constructing these posts to help you save time and energy so that you can focus on the fun part which is collecting!

1. 1990 Frank Thomas Coca Cola White Sox Top Prospect Rookie Card

This Frank Thomas rookie card can be very hard to come by because it was only handed out at the actual White Sox games at Comiskey Park as a promotion.

Because of this, the quality of the cards may be questionable so collectors may pay a premium for high grades.

2. 1990 Frank Thomas Classic Series III Rookie Card

We've actually never been less intimidated by Frank Thomas in our lives.

There is something about the funky 80's design mixed with the clear cold of Chicago that just doesn't quite mix right. But hey, we always want our readers to know their options.

8. 1990 Frank Thomas Topps "No Name On Front" Error Rookie Card

Collectors love errors. Plain and simple. Errors on cards tend to make the cards more rare and therefore come with a higher price tag.

This particular Topps Frank Thomas rookie card comes without his name printed on the front.

There is actually a 2nd error card in the Topps set as well that comes with a small black line across the bottom although it isn't as coveted as the "no name."

You'll find that this card is by far the most expensive Frank Thomas rookie card in existence.
